ARC Research's Call To Action Tracking Services
Telephone Calls
Prove The Call To Action Power of an Advertising or PR Campaign. ARC Research provides a special call tracking service that can prove the Call To Action power of an advertising or PR campaign. By ARC providing monthly or quarterly call counts made on unique telephone numbers, advertising and PR professionals can prove their campaigns are impacting consumer behavior and driving revenue. Additionally, ARC can assist advertising and PR professions in developing ROI estimates based on the number of calls received for each ad, news story, commercial, or press release.
- ARC provides the call counts in an Excel document. Web site visit counts (see below) can also be provided in the same Excel document. ARC can customize the call count report to client specifications.
ARC tracks the number of phone calls made by consumers using a unique telephone number placed in any media vehicle, including billboards, magazines, newspapers, the Internet, etc. ARC has even placed a call tracking number on the outside of a truck. There are several different types of phone numbers that can be used for this research. They are a local Remote Call Forwarding (RCF) phone number, Caller I.D. (local or toll-free), and Toll-free numbers. These phone numbers are not published anywhere else. They cannot be found by calling directory assistance.
Web Site Visits
Proving The Web Site Call To Action. ARC's proprietary measured URL™ (mURL™) service enables advertising and PR professionals to easily determine the power of their campaign in terms of generating traffic to a web site. mURL™ are unique URLs similar to the original web site name that can be placed in a press release, article, commercial, or ad.
- An example of a mURL™ for the www.arcresearch.com site would be www.arc-research.com. If the client requests, at the end of a mURL™ test, the mURL™ is transferred back to the client.
When constituents use the mURL™ to access the web site, they are automatically looped through the ARC server and immediately directed to the web site. The transfer is practically instantaneous, so the user is unaware that a test is taking place. While the transfer occurs, the ARC server counts the visit. All visits via the mURL™ are counted, even those that are cached. Information captured via the mURL™ includes the number of visits, the date and time of the visits, and the visitors’ server addresses. This information appears in a monthly or quarterly Excel report.
